There are many different ways to prewrite. You can brainstorm, or make a web, or freewrite. My favorite way of prewriting is to freewrite. This helps you to get all of your ideas onto paper. It allows you to write everything down, and get rid of the stuff you don't want later. It helps you to think about everything relating to the topic.
